"Paradise Airpark is the home of the Birds of Paradise and Experimental
Aircraft Association Chapter 735. It is an organization of aviation
enthusiasts, not necessarily pilots or aircraft owners. We meet the second
Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM unless otherwise notified. There is a Board
and Planning meeting every third Thursday open to all members, also at
7:00 PM. All meetings are at the Buzzards Roost at the airport.
Our activities include speakers of aviation interest and occasional field
trips. A favorite feature is the Saturday breakfast flyout. Passengers are
welcome on a space available basis. Expect to pay for the pilots breakfast and
maybe an offer to help for pay for fuel. Another popular activity are our
Pot-Lucks and BBQ's where we get to involve the families. Twice a year we have
a Young Eagles Day where we offer free flights to the youth of the Paradise
area to encourage interest in aviation.
Membership is $20 for the year. Membership forms are available by the bulletin
board on the Buzzards roost.
